How do I order?

How many cards can I order?
Our minimum order quantity is 2,000 (this can be made up of multiple designs but extra designs does add extra cost).
What Material can I print my card design on?
We manufacture cards on various substrates such as PVC & Eco board. We are happy to send board samples of various designs we have already printed.
How do I setup my artwork?
Please find our specification guide attached to this article.
What if I need a more bespoke finish such as spot UV, screen or metallic?
Please note any updates to artwork in the Description box and when sending artwork please make sure that the areas that are due to be used for Spot UV/Metallic are marked as such including the Metallic pantone required.
How do I add my artwork?
Please add files to the "attachments" box at the end of the form. If the files are too big to add please share via https://wetransfer.com/ or your preferred file sharing app.
Do I see what the cards look like before print?
Savvy will send you a PDF soft copy proof approval before proceeding to printing the order. Nothing will be printed without your approval.
Can I make changes to the artwork after proof has been raised for approval?
Yes but at a charge of €120 / £100 per design. You need to provide updated artwork and a 2nd proof will be issued for approval.
How long will my cards take to make?
Lead time is between 4 and 6 weeks during normal off peak times. During peak times such as Christmas lead times can reach 8 weeks.
How are the cards boxed?
Cards are boxed in 500s as standard and will be delivered in large outer boxes depending on quantity ordered.
How much will delivery cost and what courier do you use?
Delivery is included in your overall price. Our printing partners generally use DHL for most orders in Ireland and UK. From time to time they do us UPS in the UK. Please note for all Irish orders you will never be asked to pay vat duty on a delivery, if you are please contact Savvy in the 1st instance.
Are the cards secure?
Cards are printed with a 16 digit pan along with a PIN printed underneath a scratch panel. Only the customer purchasing the card has access to the PIN.
What is the timeline from when I submit a request to order cards to delivery?
- Savvy receives signed order confirmation from customer
- Savvy issues invoice to customer
- Savvy receives payment from customer
- Savvy sends order to production for proofing
- Savvy issue soft copy PDF proof by email to customer
- Customer signs off soft copy PDF proof (Week 1)
- Card order submitted into production schedule (Week 1-2)
- Card order complete and delivered to customer (Week 5 - 6)
I have run out of gift cards; can you send a small batch out to tide us over until we order more?
No, Savvy does not hold card stock, even plain white stock. All card orders are printed to specification for each customer order.
