To successfully run a Transaction Report, the end user must:
• Select a date range in the past and no later than present day
• Select a currency in the case of customers who have more than one currency in use across their MIDs in two or more countries.
*Please Note: Only one currency can be selected at a time for each single Transaction Report that the end user runs. The best practice for end users who wish to have more than one currency in their final reports is to run Transaction Reports for each of the currencies in turn, then use the ‘Export To Excel’ function that can be found next to Transaction Reports results, and then merge those separate Excel files into a single master Excel file. In the case of a customer that only operates in a single region (UK for example) the default currency for that Transaction report will be set to Pounds (GBP), and cannot be changed.
Steps
1. Please got to: https://www.connectmanager.net/login
2. Please enter a valid username and password to gain access to Connect Manager
3. Once you have landed on the main page of your Connect Manager account, please click on the ‘Reports’ menu item in the upper portion of your screen.
4. Once you have clicked on the ‘Reports’ menu item, then please click on the ‘Transaction Report’ menu item that appears there under:
5. From there, you will then land on the ‘Transaction Report’ screen itself, where you will see a series of blank fields that you can fill in and use to generate your Transaction Report.
6. Once you have landed on the ‘Transaction Report’ page, you must select a valid date range and a currency – (If your business accepts more than two different currencies) – If your business only accepts one currency, then this will be the default currency set up on the ‘Transaction Report’ page, and does not need to be changed. Please Note: – If you only select a date range and currency, you will receive results that will be quite broad.
7. If you wish to further refine your Transaction Report results, you will be able to select One, Many, or All Merchants from the drop-down list on the lower left of your screen:
8. By selecting One, Many, or All Merchants from this list, the Transaction Report will deliver increasingly granular results, specifically from the transactional activity of the selected Merchants, within the selected date range, and for the default (or selected) currency.
8a. You also have the option (where applicable) to select from the ‘Range’ drop-down, which shows which Card Ranges this customer has used in the past, which serves to further refine your Transaction Report results.
Please Note: Not all customers have or use Card Ranges
9. You can also either combine, or select separately, from the Merchant Group drop-down. Doing this is a shortcut to having to manually select all of the Merchants that you want to generate transactional information for.
Please Note: Not all Customers have their Merchants separated into Merchant Groups.
10. Once you have set all of your parameters within the ‘Transaction Report’ screen, please then click on the ‘Run Report’ button in the lower portion of your screen:
11. Once you have ran the Transaction Report, you will initially receive a set of ‘Summary Details’ in the lower portion of your screen:
11a. Summary Details: As you can see from the above screenshot, the ‘Summary Details’ panel breaks down to the following:
• Total Cards Issued
• Total Credit Transactions
• Total Debit Transactions
• Total Balance Enquiry Transactions
• Total Loaded Amount
• Total Redemption Amount
12. If you then please click on the ‘Show Transactions’ button in the lower portion of your screen, an onscreen version of your Transaction Report (based on your selected parameters) will appear:
12a. Show Transactions/Transaction Report: As you can see from the screenshot above, the on-screen version shows information for the following columns, which are also available in the Excel version that you are able to Export to Excel:
• Transacting MID
• MID Name
• Transaction/TXN ID
• Terminal/User ID
• Date – (Of Transaction)
• Time – (Of Transaction)

• First/Later – Means First Transaction on a card/Later means any subsequent transaction on a card
13. TID/MID Subtotals: Another option is to click on the ‘Show TID/MID Subtotals’ button in the lower portion of your screen in order to view transactional activity by Terminal and Merchant:
13a. As you can see from the screenshot above, the TID/MID results are broken down into columns as follows:
• MID Name
• Merchant Terminal ID
• Load Amount
• Redeem Amount
14. Export To Excel: Finally, there is an option to export both the Transaction Report and TID/MID Subtotals results to Excel by clicking on the ‘x’ folder icon on the right of your screen.
14a. After a few seconds, you will be prompted to save (and rename if you wish) an Excel file version of the on-screen Transaction Report results (shown above).
