Savvy has now updated Connect Manager to allow you the customer to set up new Mids/Merchants internally.
Once added Savvy will review and approve/reject and you will receive a confirmation email.
Requirements: All of the below can be granted by the Super User in your organisation.
Policy Admin > Merchant in your chain
Policy Admin > Keys Management (If using API Keys)
Permission – Create Merchant
See steps below on how to set up a single Merchant:
- Login into Connect Manager
- Go to Policy Admin / Merchant in your chain
- Click “Add New Merchant” on the bottom of the screen returned
- Fill in all details required, including Merchant Id (Mid Identifier), Mid Name, Location (Address/Postcode fields), Country, Currency. You can also assign the merchant directly to a Group, Channel and Brand from within this window.
- At this stage you also need to assign an API Key – be it REST or OLP if your company use these. Once the mid has been approved by Savvy the key in question will be generated and you can download it from Keys Management screen as normal.
- Press Save
- You will be returned to the Merchant in your chain screen, the merchant you just created is top of the list with a status of Pending. You will also see a green pop up window confirming the merchant set up and that an email will follow when approval has taken place.
